Barb I'm sorry to hear about Tom's dad. Like you though I'm glad he didn't linger and that it was peaceful :hug I'm glad Tom got there too before he passed away.

It's a little cool here today but mostly sunny with just occasional clouds so based on what some of you have, I'm not complaining at all! Actually I like it a bit cooler rather than terribly hot.

I haven't got as much work done today as I would have liked since nobody seems to be around.

Mac and 't get outside yesterday other than the normal since I was busy with work. I have promised him some quality time outside this weekend. We'll see if the clippers join us. :devil

Jill you've officially graduated to the camp of us that will be heading to the spa for massages and where our cabana boy will be bringing us drinks :beerchug We are definitely the walking wounded.

Hope everyone is having a great day :beerchug

I LOVE THAT BIKING SMILEY!!! And it was appropriate for the 2.5 hour ride I just finished. I was actually feeling a bit bad to state that the weather in East Central Illinois is perfect. Nice sun...pretty fluffy clouds....hardly any wind....I could not ask for anything more except a SMILEY and NOW I have a SMILEY....but I wonder how I will attempt to save it.

Right click on the smiley, then click on 'save picture as', and save it to your computer's hard drive. You can then upload it in a post or as your avitar.

Good afternoon!

It sure feels like a Saturday to me :wacko

I was able to sleep quite late this morning and it was absolute heaven :cloud9 :woot I've been running around doing all sorts of errands since I woke up, too. The weather has been mostly nice with the occasional rain shower - Nicholas and I end up looking for rainbows, because it will be raining AND the sun will be shining brightly. It's almost like "movie rain." :lol

Mike finished clearing one of the garage bays :woot :woot :woot :woot You have NO IDEA what a big deal this is! :woot

Barb, I'm sorry about Tom's father but also hope he went peacefully. Glad Tom was able to get there in time. Hope you and the pups do well, as always.

Karen, the concert sounds fun - not to mention the carding thing :lol Glad Matt and the rest of the kids survived just fine! Good luck with the weekend plans :fingers :fingers :fingers :fingers

Jill and Judy - I hope you both feel better soon!!!

Janet, sorry your weather stinks :gaah Hope you're able to enjoy the holiday weekend.

Quilts, gorgeous designs!! It seems like the sports will never end, wow!

Flashy, glad you are enjoying the good weather in your area and got in a terrific ride. Great job on the bike smilie, Jill!!!

Patty, sorry you can't take advantage of the sales but it sounds like you're doing a good job of getting out without overdoing things. :2thumbs

Linda, your birthday sounds wonderful :2thumbs and I'm impressed that Bill watched "The Notebook" - that's love for ya :muchlove :2thumbs Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Happy July 4th!

Barb, I'm so sorry about Tom's dad. I'll keep you all in thoughts and prayers...and send you all :hug

The comment about ribs...not sure if it was me, but I thought it for sure. And guess what I got today...a slab of ribs for tomorrow :lol I think mine will be cooked a little better...no flamin' :lol

Quilts, you do beautiful work. They look lovely!

Linda, I'll have to check my toes.... :lol It's currently half sun here so no to bad. I just wish the good stuff would get here before I go back to work on Tuesday :pullhair One day of sun is all I ask....

Jill, how are you feeling?

Anni, today felt like Sat to me, too. Glad it's not! And congrats on the clean garage :clap

We're heading out for a walk...nearby park...I need it after slugging so much!

Janet, we're having ribs tomorrow, too. I think we'll go with our favorite store brand of bbq sauce though, and hopefully the bottom of our grill won't fall out and our patio cover won't catch fire. :lol

Anni, our garage could stand a good cleaning, too. It's too hot to even think about that sort of work. It was 102 here today.

I've been spending the day very low key. I ran a couple quick errands and picked up a copy of Fingerlickin' Fifteen and have been reading all afternoon. I really love these Plum books. Very funny. There are so many good one liners.

My back is still a bit sore. I'm taking advil which helps some. I move from chair to couch and back again.

I've got this craving for ribs. :lol
