Good morning! :smile If you say Tuesday 3x and click your heels, you'll be into Wednesday... :lol :lol :lol Yeah, right. :shutup

Up super early, but not tired and ready to get up, so up we got. Except Tom, who is still recovering from yesterday's hike, which went well, and Mike did well, but took longer than they'd remembered. Plus they had to stop twice looking for replacement sunglasses for Gale's, which she broke while taking them out of the case. :shutup They got home about 7pm just in time for the Closer.

Sherri, have a really fun trip, and I hope the weather cooperates! :fingers

Beanbag toss, eh, flashy? :biggrin I bet your mom was :cuss that wind messing with her hair. :devil My mom would have been... well, she'd have said "darn it!" :lol

quilts, there's lots of news in our paper about an upcoming big quilt show, so of course that always makes me think about you. :smile

Patty, how long will you have to take coumadin? :huh

Karen, between your kids and me, I bet we could name every commercial/infomercial ever made. :smack

Working on a mother of a puzzle, I know I've complained about it already, but really, WTH was I thinking????? :gaah

Don't hurt yourselves with that heel clicking! :hug

Good mornng,

It's like fall today. Cool, chance of rain, high of 65.

I've been searching online for tv/media stands. Trying to see what's out there. Nothing excites me.

It's a 4 day work week for me. We have off on Friday since the 4th is on a Saturday.

We play a bean bag like toss game with Jack and Kim and family. It's a lot of fun and it's something everyone can do (some better than others).

I'm feeling vanilla ice coffee this morning. I think I'll be making a stop on my way to work.

Gonna try to make it to the gym this morning. Just finished my homemade egg mcmuffin on a whole wheat english muffin. Other than that, I think I am going to start my new Thomas Kincade puzzle I bought yesterday. It's too hot to do anything else!!!

Hope everyone has a great day.

Good Morning! :smile

I'm heading to the hospital this morning. :2thumbs I do love my new job. :heart

Bill took his car back to the body shop yesterday after work. It makes a strange noise when starting up. We can't tell if it is a vibration or a rubbing or what. Hopefully, they can figure it out.

Barb, the puzzle I'm working on is super hard, too. :brickwall

Jill, you always make me wish there were a McDonald's closer to us.

Kevin, have a good workout at the gym.

Enjoy the day! :hug

Another sunny and warm day today. I was supposed to go out yesterday but the nurse who originally was supposed to come and take my blood had car trouble and I had to wait a little while longer for another nurse. I think the surgeon will take me off coumadin next week on July 8 when I have my 6 week appointment with him. I hope so. That means no more nurses coming and PT will be on an outpatient basis.

Today will be PT and then out for a drive with Sherry. I need to get out even if it is just for a drive.

I'm trying to assess if my pain in walking is less this week than last and I'd guess it's a slight bit better but not that much. I've got to keep going, keep moving, keep doing the PT exercises and hopefully it will lessen some more soon.

Hope everyone has a nice day.

I try and AVOID repeating something 3 times...especially in front of a mirror. That is when the really bad stuff kicks in. I do find the day flies by better when I go, "TOOT TOOT TOOT Tuesday!".

Another thing that was talked about at the windy reunion was HAIR SPRAY. My mom's two BETTY Buddies use a spray and their hair did not move....or cake!! Her two friends are both BETTY.

Today is a MOONDAY for me. I work the next six days in a row....but I am not complaining.

THE CLOSER was good. Kitty.... :cry

Tonight...I like to catch HAWTHORNE...then SAVING GRACE and RESCUE ME!!! I have not seen any comments concerning the NURSE drama, HAWTHORNE. Is anybody catching this series??

I had a great bike ride...and kept it short and sweet since 30mph winds were blowing against me...almost every direction I pedalled.

With the university in summer session...all I have been doing is adding 10 minutes to my travel times with the hundreds of road construction projects going on. One crazy area on the SOUTH SIDE of town...the state opened a new interchange on the interstate LAST YEAR...perfect for the football crowds....so this year the access roads are closed for widening to GET to the new interchange. Sadly...town projects should never follow state projects.

I think I am finally over my grieving time for MJ. Now we have to deal with JOE....what a jerk of a father. I would love to read DIONE take on all of this.

Keep having a grand week...on this last day of JUNE.

Good Morning!

It's back to cool spring weather for us. It's forecast not to get out of the 60s today. Hopefully, it will warm up later this week as they are saying.

Last night's game was a little cold. It was windy and mid 60s but felt colder. I guess we were already used to warm sunshine. The girls lost :sad 7-3. It was a tough game since we were playing one of the top teams in the conference. The girls hit well and got on base, but we just couldn't get them in. Oh well. Tonight's another game. Mitch has a double-header starting in about 1 hour but I can not go since I have a lot of work to do.

Bean bag toss is so much fun! We used to have big bean bag toss tournaments on 4th of July. Craig & his partner used to beat us all the time until we finally split them up and made them play on different teams! :devil

Barb, I LOVE going to quilt shows. Mostly because they have great shopping. There are lots of quilt shops that set up booths to sell their wares. That way you do not have to drive around to all the actual shops. :biggrin

Well, back to work for me. Have a great day all!

Good Morning! Still enjoying vacation....no surprise, right? :2thumbs

Yesterday we traveled into Amish country...and speaking of quilts, I definitely saw some :biggrin Quilts, do you put a mistake in yours like they do? Just curious...and where they put theirs I would have no idea. Mine next to theirs looks like one huge mistake :lol

Rain and cooler here today so may get some stuff done inside. I did some errands this morning and sprung for Starbucks...enjoying that at the moment. Maybe it will energize me to do some organizing...

I watched Dance Your Ass Off last night...not recommending it but we know a kid on it so watched... :smack He almost got booted.

Enjoy your Tuesday!

I would love to visit Amish country! I don't "intentionally" put mistakes in my quilts either ..... :lol :lol But when one ends up in there, I claim the "Amish" thing. :biggrin The story behind that is they put a mistake in each quilts because only God is perfect.

Flashy, we have watched Hawthorne, but I could easily stop and not miss it at all.

Patty, enjoy getting out today.

Janet, I'm glad you're having fun on your vacation. We visited the Amish country around Lancaster, PA several years ago.

Quilts, I hope tonight's weather is little better for sitting outside watching a game.

We had a pretty busy morning at the hospital. I'll sit for a while and watch the show before taking a walk. I already logged 4 miles at the hospital.

Quilts, thanks for answering about your quilts. The lady who taught my group to quilt to us about that and I have enough in the few I've made to make up for everyone else! :lol

Linda, that's some serious walking at the hospital! Good for you :clap My pedometer isn't the best...we walked Sunday and it didn't register any of it :gaah
